Instructions

  • Ensure the formwork surface is clean, dry, and free from dust, old concrete residues, or debris before applying the release oil.
  • Shake or stir the container thoroughly before use to ensure uniform consistency.
  • Apply a thin and even layer of release oil across the entire formwork surface using a brush, roller, or low-pressure sprayer.
  • Respect the recommended dosage: approximately 1 liter of product covers 10 m² of formwork surface. This corresponds to roughly 100 ml per square meter. Avoid excessive application, as overuse may affect concrete surface quality.
  • Spread the oil uniformly without leaving thick pools or streaks. The goal is to create a continuous thin film rather than a heavy coating.
  • Pay particular attention to corners, joints, and detailed mold sections to ensure complete coverage.
  • Allow a short absorption period before pouring concrete. The oil should remain as a thin film and not drip from vertical surfaces.
  • Do not apply to wet formwork surfaces. Excess moisture may reduce effectiveness and compromise demolding quality.
  • Avoid contact with reinforcement bars or areas where adhesion between concrete and other structural elements is required.
  • Pour the concrete according to standard construction procedures once the release oil has been evenly applied.
  • After the concrete has properly cured, remove the formwork carefully. The treated surfaces should separate cleanly and easily.
  • If reusing formwork, clean residual concrete fragments before reapplying release oil for the next use.
  • Do not exceed the recommended coverage rate of 10 m² per liter, as excessive oil may lead to surface discoloration or reduced bonding in subsequent finishing processes.
  • Store the product in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Wear appropriate protective gloves and avoid prolonged skin contact during application.
  • Clean application tools after use according to product recommendations to maintain equipment performance.
