Instructions

  • Ensure all PVC surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, oil, or burrs before applying PVC glue.
  • Cut PVC pipes squarely and deburr the edges to ensure proper fit and full surface contact.
  • Lightly sand the PVC surfaces to be bonded using fine-grit sandpaper to improve adhesion, then remove all sanding dust before applying the glue.
  • Dry-fit the PVC components first to check alignment and insertion depth before gluing.
  • Apply PVC glue evenly to the outside of the pipe and the inside of the fitting using a brush or applicator.
  • Use a uniform, thin layer that fully covers the bonding surfaces without excessive buildup.
  • Immediately insert the pipe into the fitting while the glue is still wet.
  • Push the parts together firmly and twist slightly, about a quarter turn, to distribute the glue evenly.
  • Hold the joint in place for 20 to 30 seconds to prevent push-out while the glue begins to set.
  • Wipe away any excess glue from the outside of the joint with a clean cloth.
  • Allow the joint to set undisturbed for at least 10 to 15 minutes before handling.
  • Do not apply pressure or stress to the joint during the initial curing phase.
  • Full curing time typically ranges from 2 to 24 hours depending on pipe diameter, temperature, humidity, and system pressure.
  • Do not test or pressurize the system until full curing is complete.
  • Store PVC glue in a cool, dry place with the container tightly closed when not in use to maintain optimal performance.
