  • Apply a small amount of hardwood floor wax using a soft cloth, mop, or applicator pad, working section by section and following the direction of the wood grain.
  • Use thin, even coats rather than thick layers to allow proper absorption, faster drying, and a smoother final appearance.
  • Allow the wax to penetrate the wood for approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on wood type, porosity, and environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity.
  • Buff the floor with a clean, dry cloth or polishing machine to remove excess wax and achieve a uniform satin finish.
  • For floors that are very dry, heavily worn, or exposed to high traffic, apply a second coat after the first layer has dried completely, typically after 3 to 6 hours.
