Instructions

  • Ensure the wall substrate is stable, clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, loose particles, or structural defects. Repair cracks, holes, or irregularities before starting the application.
  • For application over painted surfaces, ensure the paint is well bonded. Remove any flaking or unstable areas. Light sanding is recommended to improve adhesion.
  • If applying over tiles, confirm all tiles are firmly attached. Lightly sand glossy surfaces and remove all dust thoroughly.
  • Apply the bonding primer evenly using a roller or brush over the entire wall surface. Ensure complete and uniform coverage, especially in corners and edges. Allow the primer to dry completely, typically 2 to 4 hours depending on environmental conditions.
  • Prepare the fine grain mortar with precise water dosage. The required water proportion is 30 to 35 percent of the powder weight. This corresponds to:
    • 3.0 to 3.5 liters of clean water for 10 kg of fine grain mortar.
    • 1.5 to 1.75 liters of clean water for 5 kg of mortar.
    • 300 to 350 milliliters of clean water for 1 kg of mortar.
      Accurate measurement is essential. Excess water can weaken the mortar, reduce adhesion, and cause shrinkage. Insufficient water may lead to poor workability and difficulty in application.
  • For large wall surfaces, prepare mortar in consistent batches to ensure uniform color and texture across the entire area. Maintain the same water-to-powder ratio for every batch without variation.
  • Pour the measured clean water into a mixing bucket first. If color is required, thoroughly mix the selected pigment into the water before adding the mortar powder. This guarantees even color distribution across all batches.
  • Gradually add the fine grain mortar powder into the water while mixing with a low-speed electric mixer operating at approximately 400 to 600 rpm. Mix for 2 to 3 minutes until achieving a smooth, homogeneous, lump-free paste.
  • Allow the mixture to rest for approximately 1 minute to stabilize, then remix briefly for 30 seconds before application. Do not add extra water after mixing, as this can compromise mechanical performance and color consistency.
  • Apply the first coat of fine grain mortar using a stainless steel trowel. Spread a thin and even layer of approximately 1 mm thickness. On large walls, work in manageable sections while maintaining consistent trowel pressure to ensure uniform texture.
  • Allow the first coat to dry for 6 to 8 hours depending on temperature and humidity levels.
  • Once dry, sand lightly using sandpaper with grain 120 to 180 to remove imperfections and improve intercoat adhesion. Remove all dust thoroughly with a vacuum and clean cloth.
  • Prepare a second batch of mortar using exactly the same water ratio of 30 to 35 percent of the powder weight. Consistency in water dosage is critical to avoid color differences on large vertical surfaces.
  • Apply the second coat in a thin layer of approximately 1 mm thickness. Use controlled and overlapping trowel movements to achieve the desired decorative effect while maintaining uniform thickness.
  • Allow the second coat to dry completely, typically 12 to 24 hours depending on environmental conditions.
  • Sand the fully dried surface with fine sandpaper (grain 180 to 220) to refine the finish and remove minor irregularities. Remove all dust carefully before continuing.
  • Apply the pore filler evenly using a roller or flexible trowel to close micro-pores and improve smoothness and stain resistance. Allow it to dry for 4 to 6 hours. Light sanding may be required after drying.
  • Apply the first coat of microcement varnish using a clean microfiber roller. Work systematically from top to bottom to avoid drips or visible overlaps.
  • Allow the first varnish coat to dry for 4 to 6 hours. Lightly sand with very fine sandpaper (grain 220 to 320) to promote proper adhesion between coats. Remove all dust thoroughly.
  • Apply a second coat of microcement varnish for full protection. In areas exposed to moisture or higher impact, a third coat is recommended to maximize durability.
  • Avoid direct contact, cleaning, or heavy impact for at least 24 to 48 hours after the final varnish application. Full mechanical and chemical resistance is typically achieved after 5 to 7 days.
  • Clean tools immediately after use with water before the material hardens.
  • Store all kit components in tightly sealed containers in a dry place, protected from extreme temperatures, to maintain optimal product performance and longevity.
