Properties:

   Durable choice in time.

   Penetrates to healthy metal and waterproofs the surface.

   Enhances the beauty of the surface.

   Long lasting: resistant and flexible film.

   Very fluid varnish.

   Easy application: no sanding between layers, except before the first.

   Can be stained with dyes (consult us).

Any metals that may be exposed to rust and metals that have already rusted.

Horizontal – vertical.

Recommendations before application:

Beforehand, the surface must be clean without any dust and perfectly dry during the application. Sand the rust with a sander if you wish to remove it. Do not apply the varnish in wet weather or late in the afternoon. Do not dilute.

Application:

Apply 1 to 2 coats of varnish depending on the exposure of the support. Leave to dry for at least 3 hours between each coat. There is no need to sand between coats. Leave to dry for 1 to 2 days before commissioning. Note: splashes or drips of varnish must be removed before the product dries. After drying, stains are very difficult to remove, so be very careful and remove these stains immediately after application.

J'ai bien brossé une vielle fontaine en fonte, après une deuxième couche de vernis elle était superbe, MAIS le lendemain elle était horible, comme comme saupoudrée de sucre glace ! Comme si le vernis avait cristallisé, peut-être sous l'effet de l'humidité de la nuit ? J'ai recommencé le décapage et vernissage, et je garde à l'abri la fontaine pendant quelques jours. Pour l'instant tout va bien, mais comment va-t-elle se comporter sous le climat breton ? Avez-vous déjà constaté ce phénomène ? À suivre.
